It was indeed a sad parade of fashion figures that climbed the steps of St Paul’s Church in London yesterday.
About 100 mourners showed up to the private memorial held for Alexander McQueen‘s funeral.
Many of his family members wore the McQueen tartan in honour of one of the designer’s collections.
Heiress, journalist and haute couture collector Daphné Guinness wore an elaborate cape, veil and beehive designed by Mr. McQueen.
More images after the jump…

The final collection Mr. McQueen designed before his death will be shown at Paris Fashion Week on March 9th.

We would indeed have prefered to see these ladies wearing Mc Queen’s in other circumstances…
THe 9th of March in Paris should be unforgettable.
We need you to talk about it Dominique!
